Apps And Skiing - My Epic App

Skiing in powder snow

Do you ski with an app? Like to track your skiing vertical on your phone? Vail Resorts claims to have created the most engaging mobile ski app yet – My Epic App.

From the folks who brought you the Epic Pass – a super savings season pass valid at all 37 North American resorts, here is an all-in-one alpine phone app that is designed to enhance the mountain experience. My Epic App offers real-time resort updates, tracks your vertical skiing, gives you live ski conditions, lift line wait times, and finds your friends and family on the mountain. Also with the new feature launched,  the Mobile Pass & Lift Ticket (exclude Whistler Blackcomb), allows guests to store their pass or lift ticket directly on their phone and scanned, it hands-free.

You can check your skiing stats on your phone at the end of the ski day, or the end of the ski season for that matter. If you are engaged with the app, you can check it constantly, earn cool badges, and bragging rights as you go, and even enter vertical challenges if that's epic to you.

My Epic App tracks your ski ticket via Bluetooth® technology as you pass through the lift. It is designed for low energy usage and gets scanned, hands-free. My Epic app will be available at all 37 Vail’s owned and operated North American Resort. The Mobile Pass and Lift ticket feature will be available at the 36 Vail resorts in the US including Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, Beaver Creek, Park CityCrested Butte, Northstar, Heavenly, and Kirkwood.

If you prefer the old-school way and choose to use your physical card, you can get your ticket printed at the ticket office.
